Materials

Specify it once.
Build it in one grain.

We buy rough lumber and veneer by the log, sticker it in our own racks, and mill it once the drawings are approved. Six species, four finishes, no substitutions.

How material goes wrong

✕
Species swapped at the supply house, so the run no longer matches the sample
✕
Veneer ordered by the sheet, so grain jumps between doors in the same wall
✕
Finish specified off a chip, then approved under different light on site
✕
Moisture content ignored, so panels cup through the first heating season
✕
Edge treatment left to the shop floor, so reveals read differently room to room

How we hold it

✓
One log, sequenced and stickered in our racks with your job number on it
✓
Faces laid out on the bench and numbered before a single sheet is cut
✓
Samples milled from your own material and approved in the room they live in
✓
Stock acclimatised to 6–8% and read with a meter before it is machined
✓
Edges, reveals and end grain drawn at full size and carried across every run
